Ministry of Science and Technology will submit six bills to the National Assembly

The Minister of Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, announced the elevation to the National Assembly (AN), on the instruction of the President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez, “six fundamental bills for the future of our nation”.

Through her Telegram channel, the head of Science said that “these proposals will be discussed to consolidate a State policy, aimed at strengthening science, technology and the digital transformation of Venezuela.”

In this regard, he explained that the projects, which will make it possible to consolidate an avant-garde, digital and fully sovereign Venezuela, are:

- Draft National Law for the Development and Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence.

- Draft Law on the National Information Technology System.

- Digital Rights Bill.

- Cybersecurity Bill.

- Draft Law for Venezuelan Space Development.

- Draft Law on the Peaceful Use of Atomic Energy.
