More than 3,290 people who violated the Law were apprehended by the PNB during 2024

A total of 3,291 people were arrested by the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB) during 2024, for their alleged involvement in the commission of various punishable acts, said the commander general of this body, Senior Commissioner, Rubén Santiago Servigna.

According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Últimas Noticias (UN), these arrests were achieved in 2,490 operations, of which 319 resulted in the capture of 263 members of organized gangs.

Regarding the seizure of drugs, he specified that more than 4,325 kilograms of various psychotropic substances were seized in the national territory.
