A total of 333 Russian tourists arrived at Santiago Mariño Caribbean International Airport in Nueva Esparta state to enjoy the beaches of Margarita Island.

The information was provided by the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism (MINTUR), Leticia Gómez, through the social network Instagram.

He specified that since 2021, through the Moscow—Porlamar charter operation, Venezuela has received 43,616 visitors to date.

This commercial initiative is part of the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Tourism, under the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro, aimed at strengthening inbound tourism, as a source of economic growth and social inclusion, according to a note from the Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) portal.
