More than 600 patients with different pathologies were operated on through the National Surgical Plan promoted by the Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Health.

According to information published on the Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) web portal, the surgical day was held at the Sr. Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital in Caracas, where surgeries were performed for Vesicular Lithiasis, Hernias, Prolapse, Cholecystectomy, Otorhinolaryngology, Urology, Traumatology, among others.

“This plan was created with the purpose of providing free care to the population that requires surgical interventions, an initiative that reaffirms the commitment of the Government of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, to advance in strengthening the National Public Health System (SPNS),” VTV reported.
