In La Victoria, in the municipality of José Félix Ribas, Aragua state, more than 600 people gathered to kick off the festivities of the 228th anniversary of the apparition of the Holy Christ, with the 4K Historical Route “Come to El Calvario” walk.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the member of the Organizing Committee, Ana Torres, stressed that it was “a very nice recreational activity and I hope next year will be much better”. At the same time, he thanked Mayor Juan Carlos Sánchez for all the support provided, as every year, and assured that “we are happy, we are grateful to the authorities.”
From the early hours of the morning, the population was concentrated in Plaza Bolívar de La Victoria, from where they set out for the chapel of El Calvario, and culminated in dynamic dance therapy.
On the tour, the participants traveled through what is the Historic Quarter of the city of La Victoria to Francisco de Miranda Avenue, crossing on the way back from Plaza Las Madres to take Rivas Dávila Street and then Padre Lazo Street and Barrio Jesús. It is worth noting that in this second edition, the route reached the chapel passing through what is known as Puente Guzmán.
