More than 600 women from the
Socorro Bolivarian commune,
Miguel Peña parish in the municipality of Valencia, were treated during a day of the
Pink Route, through the 0800-Bigote program.
The day included free exams, mammograms, breast
ultrasound and gynecological care, as well as the detection and prevention
of cervical cancer, “with the intention of raising awareness about the early
detection of pathologies such as breast cancer”.
Check-ups were also carried out in different
areas such as general medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics and ultrasound studies,
as well as the delivery of medications to patients who require it.
