The Attorney General of the
Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that the Public Ministry (MP) charged two prosecutors with the crimes of
delay or intentional omission of functions.
The information was released through a post on the Instagram
account of the Public Ministry, where it states “these
former officials took actions contrary to their positions, because
they maintained direct communication with the now criminal Analy González, a lawyer,
who demanded large amounts of money from the parties involved, in order to favor them in the
investigations”.
The defendants were identified as Soreidys Quiroz, Isabel
Sanz, Érica Parra and Johana Prieto (MP Zulia), who provided information
to the above-mentioned lawyer, about “the different criminal cases, carried out in different tax offices in the jurisdiction”.
