National Field Hockey Championship under-18 category is held in Lara state

At the facilities of the Aquilino Juares Sports Center in the city of Palavecino in the municipality of Iribarren, in the state of Lara, the National Field Hockey Championship under-18 category is held

The championship, which is organized by the Venezuelan Field Hockey Federation (FVH), will include the participation of men's and women's delegations from the states of Aragua, Barinas, Trujillo, La Guaira, Yaracuy, Lara and Portuguesa, according to the Ministry of Sports press.

It will last until this coming Sunday, June 15, which will also serve to check and select the athletes who will be part of the national teams of that category, who will participate next year in the South American Youth Games in Panama City.

In addition, the players who will represent the under-21 category in the World Cup next year will be observed, while the competition will help the competitors score points in the men's and women's rankings, respectively.
