National Government authorities took a tour of the Los Roques Archipelago National Park, to structurally address several key areas for the development of the region, with the objective of formally activating the Plan for Rehabilitation and Integral Transformation.

The activity was led by the Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, who evaluated the works aimed at improving both the quality of life of the inhabitants of the community and the tourist activity in the area.

The deployment in the territory was strategically accompanied by the head of the Insular Territory Francisco de Miranda and president of the Corporation “Together Everything Is Possible”, Admiral Aníbal Coronado.

Among the immediate actions to be carried out, the general optimization of public services, the start of housing rehabilitation work, the modernization of sports areas and the comprehensive adaptation of Plaza Bolívar de Los Roques stand out.

As part of the urban beautification and reorganization of public space, the construction of the new Paseo La Laguna was announced, a project that is emerging as an important attraction for visitors.

In parallel, a deep environmental sanitation plan will be implemented in order to preserve the fragile ecosystem of this national park, which will ensure sustainable and responsible tourism.

Finally, with the purpose of optimizing administrative management in the territory and providing more efficient care, the authorities reported the creation of a Single Box Office, a technological tool that will allow the simplification and streamlining of all legal and commercial procedures in the town.
