Padrino López: U.S. military forces are using them as mercenaries

Within the United States Armed Forces, there is great disagreement with the way in which they are being used, distancing themselves from the purpose for which they were created, said Defense Minister G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

“The military of the United States is being used as mercenaries to assassinate, to kill. This is what is happening in the Caribbean, they are killing defenseless people, whether they are drug traffickers or not, they are executing people without due process,” he highlighted during the presentation of the balance sheet of the new top deployment of the FANB in the framework of the Sovereignty 200 exercises.

In this regard, he reiterated that the rejection of the disproportionate, illegal and illegitimate use of U.S. military forces against the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean prevails in the various international organizations and, above all, within the borders of that country.

“In the United States, they have a lot of work to do internally. It is absurd contrary to morality, to civility what they are doing. At this stage we should go against war, violence, genocide, we reject those actions of imperialism,” he stressed while stressing that Venezuela will stand up to defend its sovereignty, independence and self-determination.
