In the Los Sueños de Chávez Agricultural Parcel, 17 producer and producer organizations, constituted by peasant councils, from the rural area of the Si Món Bolívar municipality, held a meeting with authorities from the Ministry of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, as well as the Office of Productive Economic Management of the local council, where they proposed solving problems and acquiring materials for the installation of irrigation hoses, submersible pumps and the leverage of the production of cardboard, through the processing of sugar cane.

The director of this cabinet, Eddison Rizalez, indicated that the peasants' councils, before the visit of the head of the agricultural portfolio, G/D Menry Fernández, were aimed at developing a comprehensive plan for the construction of a new model of regenerative agriculture, direct seeding and polyculture.

For his part, the representative of the entity's Agricultural Technical Directorate reported on that occasion that they work entirely on the productive use of land, for the empowerment of Barcelona, in response to the support and management of Mayor Sugey Herrera, oriented towards a productive municipal economy.

It should be remembered that this peasant council was made up of 76 local producers, after the elections held last weekend.

It is worth remembering that this action is part of the first T, the transformation of the economy for good living, which aims at the modernization of production methods and techniques to achieve economic diversification, incorporated in the new export model.
