In a deployment focused on technological sovereignty and collective well-being, the Cayapa Heroica National Plan implemented by the Ministry of Science and Technology (Mincyt) successfully recovered and optimized some medical and laboratory equipment in the Sucre municipality, in Cumaná.
The intervention carried out by members of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) produced results that encompass several local institutions, including the Villa Martha Type II Popular Consultancy. There, the technicians succeeded in reactivating an analog blood pressure monitor and an air ozonifier, ensuring better conditions in primary health care.
In addition, according to a press release, two video beams, two thermal laboratory baths and three digital multimeters, essential equipment for academic work and research, were repaired at the Territorial Polytechnic University of the West of Sucre Clodosbaldo Russián (UPTOSCR).
In addition, at the Miramar Outpatient Clinic, the technical team carried out a specialized diagnosis using an electrocardiograph, an essential step in managing its prompt rehabilitation and start-up.
