Plan Cayapa Salud intervened at the Chiquinquirá Hospital in Maracaibo

The Chiquinquirá Hospital in
Maracaibo began a new phase of comprehensive intervention through the Cayapa Health
Plan, as reported by the governor of the entity, Luis Caldera.
According to information
published in the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, this initiative contemplates
the rehabilitation of critical and strategic areas of the hospital.
Specifically, the pediatric and adult emergency was delivered, an expansion of the hospitalization area with the inclusion
of 20 beds for general medicine and
surgery, as well as 23 beds for gyneco-obstetrics, five
surgical wards, and four places for the Neonatology Intensive Care Unit and six for pediatric care.
“The best offering we are going
to make to Our Lady is to recover the hospital that bears her name, which is there,
next to the Basilica, in the heart of Maracaibo,” said the president.
He added that it is planned to carry out external
painting works, waterproofing the 8th floor, repairing
white and sewage systems, improving the lighting system, among others.
