Popular Consultation: Venezuelans demonstrated that sovereignty resides in the People

Venezuelans demonstrated this Sunday, in the first Popular Consultation of 2025, that sovereignty resides in the People, as expressed in our Constitution, said Luis Cabello, member of the Community Electoral Commission.

“We want to highlight the commitment of President Nicolás Maduro, who once again ratifies his commitment to the People, who invoke our Constitution where sovereignty resides inseparably in the People and it is the People who materialize the fact of self-government and Popular Power,” he said during the presentation of the third bulletin of the election day.

Cabello also congratulated the technical support provided by the National Electoral Council (CNE) for this day and the support of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to guarantee peace in the process.
