President Maduro: 60% of projects chosen in the Popular Consultation have already been awarded by the CNE

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that 60% of the projects voted in the National Popular Consultation, held this Sunday, February 02, have already been awarded by the National Electoral Council (CNE).

In the broadcast of his program Maduro Live de Repente, he said that this has been a great work of participation, while congratulating the principal and alternate rectors of the Electoral Power.

“Exercising the functions of the dreams of the Blue Book,” he said, referring to Commander Hugo Chávez's text, which outlines actions as part of the perfect combination of People and Government.

Along these lines, he specified that after Sunday's day, there are 3,205 communal circuits, and the same number of projects, namely, in the areas: water; followed by Education, Habitat Improvements, Electricity, Roads, Health, Sports, Primary Production, Environment, Public Transport, Culture, Community Gas, Related Services, Slope Stabilization, Telecommunications, Industry Transformation, Public Safety and Tourism.

At this point, the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, specified that in Caracas, the projects that prevailed were those related to the replacement of roofs, acquisition of water tanks, repair of elevators, as well as roads, drinking water pipes and sewage pipes.
