President Maduro convenes the Bolivarian Congress of the original Constituent Power for January 2026

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the convening of a Bolivarian Congress of the Constituent Power for the month of January 2026.

“A Bolivarian Congress of the Constituent Power where all the social forces that have awakened from this popular process come together. A process that must seek the union of all the people to make the real power of the Republic impregnable,” said the national president.

He indicated that the time has come to unite all the currents of Popular Power in the 27 sectors that have developed their Popular Constituent Process. He added that “Venezuela today has the greatest military and police power it has ever had in history since the time of the United Liberation Army.”

“I will issue Special Presidential Decree in the next few hours. Calling all the Power of the Nation to a powerful Bolivarian Congress of the Original Constituent Power, of the power of the people,” said the national dignitary in a forceful way.
