President Maduro: His departure fills us with deep pain. Honor and Eternal Glory to Isaías Rodríguez!

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his regret and regretted the physical departure of the former Attorney General of the Republic, Julián Isaías Rodríguez Díaz, in the afternoon of this Sunday, January 12, in Caracas.

“Today, January 12th, I write these lines in the context of his irreparable physical departure, which fills us with deep pain. My words of condolence go out to your family and friends. Honor and Eternal Glory to Isaías Rodríguez!” , he emphasized.

Through his social networks, the head of state said: “He has left us a great man, lawyer, poet, defender of workers, impeccable, loyal and consistent with the just causes of the Venezuelan people, Isaías Rodríguez, a courageous revolutionary.”

In his message, he noted that Rodríguez was a “distinguished constituent of the years 1999 and 2017, who wrote the fundamental articles and chapters of our Magna Carta and accompanied us in the founding of V Republic, an icon of heroic Venezuelan history.”

“I remember him in those days in April 2002, when he firmly denounced the coup d'etat against Commander Hugo Chávez, which proved decisive in fanning the revolutionary rebellion that would rescue institutionality and democracy,” he emphasized.
