President Maduro honors members of the government sanctioned by the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and the EU

After the closing of the World Festival of the Anti-Fascist International for a New World, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, awarded the Bicentennial Order of the Victory of Ayacucho to officials who were sanctioned by the government of the United States (USA), the European Union, the United Kingdom and the government of Canada.

Here are the officials targeted by the new sanctions:

Fanny Beatriz Márquez Cordero, vice-president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) and the Electoral Chamber; Inocencio Antonio Figueroa Arizaleta, Magistrate of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice; Malaquías Gil Rodríguez, President of the Political-Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court.

Antonio José Meneses Rodríguez, Secretary General of the National Electoral Council (CNE); Carlos Enrique Quintero Cuevas, Vice President of the CNE; Conrado Ramón Pérez Briceño, Principal Rector of the CNE; Rosalba Gil Pacheco, Chief Rector of the CNE and President of the Civil and Electoral Registration Commission.

Luis Ernesto Dueñez Reyes, Assistant Prosecutor of the Public Ministry; Edward Miguel Briceño Cisneros, Special Judge of the First Instance Court; Alexis José Rodríguez Cabello, Director of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN); Miguel Antonio Muñoz Palacios, Deputy Director of SEBIN.

Elio Ramón Estrada Paredes, Commander of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB); Asdrúbal José Brito Hernández, Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (DEIPC) of the DGCIM; Domingo Antonio Hernández Lárez, Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
