President Maduro leads meeting with the National Directorate of the PSUV and the JPSUV

This Monday, November 10, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, leads the meeting with the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the Youth of the Red Awning (JPSUV), with the objective of analyzing the development of the Popular Assemblies that were held last weekend for the election of the Bolivarian Integral Base Committees (CBBI).

At the time, the Head of State emphasized that these popular assemblies have as their main objective to grant all power to the People and defend the impregnable Homeland; for this reason, last weekend, a process of mass mobilization was organized in the 264,000 streets of the country for the election of the CBBI.

The election that took place this Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9, will continue next weekend, November 15 and 16, to elect the thousands of spokespersons for each CBBI, who will be composed of at least nine members.

These new committees have the mission of strengthening political organization, meeting the social needs of communities and operating as a structure for the comprehensive defense of the nation.
