President Maduro: Let's strengthen the production of healthy food

During his visit to the Agrotourism District “El Gran Topo”, located on the Caracas - La Guaira Highway, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the production of healthy food.

“We are starting the journey to produce healthy food, with healthy soil, for healthy bodies. That is the model that we must consolidate,” he said.

The head of state stressed the need to empower the people and consolidate a Bolivarian Militia with productive capacity, in coordination with major social missions. “As Commander Chávez said: 'There are enough people here, enough land here. 'What we have to do is destroy the old model and govern together with the people,” he said.

He praised those who cultivate in the mountains with natural products. “We have to change completely. Replace chemicals with natural fertilizers,” he said.

The National President greeted the Colombian people: “We are united in fortune, in risk and in opportunity. Venezuelans and Colombians, we are going to build prosperity,” he concluded.
