The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received this Friday at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas, Donald Trump's special envoy, Richard Grenell, to whom he proposes a “zero agenda” with the Government of the United States (USA).

The U.S. representative arrived in Venezuela in the afternoon, and was received at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía by the president of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, accompanied by the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil.

The meeting with the Head of State was confirmed earlier by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, marking the first formal rapprochement between the Bolivarian nation and the new Trump Administration, after his inauguration on January 20.
