President Maduro reveals the milestone of the 4,000 commune and inaugurates works of the National Popular Consultation

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, unveiled this Wednesday a new milestone in Popular Power: the 4,000th Commune of the country registered under the name “General Rafael Urdaneta”, located in sector 3 of the Rafael Urdaneta Urdaneta Urdaneta Urbanization (La Segundera), in Cagua, Sucre municipality in the state of Aragua.

This commune is made up of 14 communal councils and five Bolivar-Chávez Battle Units (UBCH) and constitutes a significant base of Popular Power in the entity, bringing together a population of 12,406 people.

As part of this achievement, the National President will inaugurate a set of vital works and facilities for the community, coming from the Popular Consultation and executed by the communal councils that make up the 5th Segundera Community Circuit, including:

Purchase of medical equipment for the Rafael Urdaneta maternity hospital.

Purchase of materials for roof replacement.

Rehabilitation and conditioning of the C.E.I.E. Rómulo Gallegos. .
