President Maduro urged the installation of a permanent political dialogue table of the Federal Government Council

This Tuesday, September 10, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, issued instructions to the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, to set up a permanent and open-door political dialogue table of the Federal Government Council with all the Governors, Mayors, the People's Power, to carry out a great consultative dialogue on the issues of peace in Venezuela, the strengthening of democracy, sovereignty and independence, among others.

“This is the fourth point that I bring to you: it is the dialogue of all the issues and a little topic that I put there, that we should think about because the year 2025 is constitutionally an electoral year. This is the 32nd election,” he said at the White Palace, where he led the Plenary of the Federal Governing Council.

The head of state also specified that in 2030 “we have a mega-election: Presidency, Assembly, Governorates and Mayors (...) we have to see governors and mayors and mayors, you are legitimate political leaders and you have to occupy your space as leaders, in addition to management, to do more in politics to guide people”.

“Let us move forward, only dialogue and peace will lead us to seek the great objectives of a civilization based on love and tolerance.”

In this regard, he recalled that he called for a multidimensional dialogue, “it is in full development, economic dialogue is on the right foot, we continue with cultural, religious, spiritual and political dialogue”.
