President Maduro: We will recover the PAE and the infrastructures of schools to 100%

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Monday, September 9, issued instructions aimed at the 100% recovery of the School Food Program (PAE), as well as the infrastructures of high schools and schools for this new 2024-2025 school year.
He pointed out that at the time the PAE was very affected, “because there came a time when the shortage was almost total.”
“In spite of everything, we maintained the PAE, it withstood the worst moment. I think we are in a position to fully recover the PAE,” he said during his program “With Maduro+”, in his 56th broadcast.
He stressed that this objective is possible since it is being produced in the country, so he asked the Ministries of People's Power for Food and Agriculture and Lands, to coordinate with the Department of Education, actions regarding food and activate the country's distribution circuits, to serve the PAE, “at 100% quantity and quality”.
The head of state also referred to the recovery of the infrastructure of educational centers, for which he requested the activation of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES).
“The Bolivarian National Armed Forces have the logistics, capacity and action,” he said, while considering it necessary to carry out a complete review of this matter with the highest military authorities.
“We are going to make an extra, extraordinary effort to recover 100% of all schools, high schools and universities in the country,” he said.
For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, reported that throughout the country a total of 86 School Fairs will be held during the month of September, which prioritize the products of entrepreneurs for the student population.
At this point, the Minister of Popular Power for National Trade, Luis Villegas, highlighted the great role of entrepreneurs in the country in the School Fairs that showcase these products throughout the country.
