The Attorney of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, spearheaded the launch of the Drive for Life Program, which pursues the task of preventing and punishing recklessness when driving.

“It will be a call for prevention, but at the same time there must be legal consequences, of sanction, for those who irresponsibly, recklessly, regardless of the human life of their own family members, their neighbors and that of themselves drive any type of vehicle in violation of the law, acting in a way that is not only reckless and responsible,” he said.

Saab explained that this program will be carried out in all municipalities in the country, so that it has a positive impact and we can see in a vertiginous way the reduction in accident rates with fatal consequences for the Venezuelan population.

He also said that the “highest number of deaths in the country are caused by traffic accidents, I repeat, both in motor vehicles, motorcycles, and so on”, generated by the recklessness of drivers, non-compliance with traffic regulations and the evasion of administrative responsibility established by current regulations.
