Rander Peña at ALBA: We reiterate our commitment to strengthening Bolivarian Thought and Action

The new Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Rander Peña, expressed his commitment “to strengthening Bolivarian Thought and Action in the Great Homeland.”

After his appointment to office, Peña wrote on his Telegram channel : “With deep gratitude and renewed responsibility, I appreciate the trust placed in appointing me as Executive Secretary of ALBA-TCP, by decision of the Presidents, Co-Presidents and Prime Ministers of our Alliance. This appointment is not only an honor, but a call to redouble efforts to guarantee the union and happiness of our Peoples, fundamental principles of the Bolivarian Doctrine.”

He also recognized the “extraordinary work of Brother Jorge Arreaza, whose dedication has been a fundamental pillar for ALBA-TCP”.

“We will continue to work with firmness and passion, guided by Bolivarian, Martian, Fidelista and Chavista thinking, beacons that illuminate our path to true union,” he added.

For his part, Jorge Arreaza, through the same path, thanked the governments of the 10 countries of the Alliance “for the trust they placed in us”. He also congratulated the new Executive Secretary, “our brother Rander Peña, will be able to coordinate the actions of ALBA to deepen our union and continue to provide dignity and happiness to our Peoples.
