Red +Salud Guaicaipura has treated 77,000 emergencies in Los Teques

With the inauguration of +Salud El Trabuco, the primary care network has 23 centers in the Guaicaipura municipality, positioning itself as one of the largest in the state of Miranda.

This was announced by the mayor of the municipality Farith Fraija, noting that with this new center there are 14 24-hour service centers 365 days a year. “Our +Salud Guaicaipura network is the first health care network in the Altos Mirandinos that provides dentistry, gynecology, pediatrics, general medicine, internal medicine and immunization services.”

The inauguration of this center stems from a community assembly held during the campaign and a commitment, where regional authorities highlighted investment as a government priority for family well-being.

In this reopening, 5,200 families living in the community benefited. “It represents a change for the community, which used to have to move to receive care and now they have our center, these green houses that bring health and care to the communities.”

In addition to the new dental office, areas of general medicine, pediatrics and soon laboratory were recovered. “Both initiatives show how joint work between authorities and communities is strengthening the local health system with modern infrastructure, comprehensive services and active participation of the people who decide what to invest resources in,” he said.

Fraija explained that in the month of August alone, 9,142 people were treated in the different offices and emergency room.

“Today there are 23 centers, which in 2025 have saved some 77,000 lives, preventing diseases, caring for and giving health to our grandparents and attending to emergencies, together with the pre-hospital care service.”

He added that work is being done to adapt six new +Health centers that will be ready between the months of October and November. “In the first 100 days of management, we will continue to strengthen medical and preventive care.”

It is worth noting that this preventive system of 23 +Health centers is positioned as the largest in the state of Miranda
