Authorities and the Monagas Prevention and Rescue Corps are under constant monitoring in the 13 municipalities in the face of the fifth tropical wave.

This was reported by the Secretary of Public Management, Cosme Arzolay, during the inauguration of the Control and Monitoring Room for Risk Mitigation in the state of Monagas.

The official explained that the magnitude of the rains was significant, increasing the level of soil saturation and making it difficult to drain water, so it is necessary to maintain monitoring and control in risk areas to act in the event of any negative event.
