In order to verify progress in soil adaptation for the 2026 winter cycle, technical personnel from the Scientific-Peasant Alliance inspected the Aduk Sánchez production unit, located in the Cerro Azul sector of the Bolívar Chávez Commune, in Bolívar State.
This technical conference, promoted by the Ministry of Science and Technology (Mincyt), focused on supervising the preparation of land for planting corn and vegetables, scheduled for the months of June and July. These actions ensure that local producers have the necessary technical and scientific guidance to ensure a successful harvest.
According to a press release, during the deployment in the Andrés Eloy Blanco parish, the multidisciplinary team evaluated the cleaning conditions of the land and offered strategic recommendations on the distribution of items such as cacao, citrus fruits and avocados.
The advice placed special emphasis on the calculation of planting density, a fundamental technique to enhance productivity and the optimal use of the area's natural resources.
For his part, producer Aduk Sánchez expressed his willingness to adopt these sustainable practices, thanking them for the direct support that makes it possible to strengthen food sovereignty from the local level.
