Sector Vice President Cabello announced the creation of the Vice Ministry of Religious Institutions and Cults

The Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced this Thursday the creation of the Vice Ministry of Religious Institutions and Cults of the Ministry of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, an office that will be led by Edgar Arteaga.

“I made a proposal to the president to create the Vice-Ministry of Religious Institutions and Cults so that it is dedicated to that and does not have to depend on anyone. The president accepted that, he totally agreed,” Cabello reported during the installation of working groups in support of evangelical Christian churches.

He pointed out that, previously, managers took advantage of it to process any permit related to the religious issue. “That should no longer happen,” he emphasized, reiterating that the Deputy Ministry “will receive him by comrade Edgar Arteaga. He has to take on the task of fulfilling what the president said (...) Your dedication will be exclusive to this issue, working with all institutions without difference of any kind, ” he instructed.
