This Thursday, 60 men and women belonging to the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force left for the Plurinational State of Bolivia, in order to provide specialized technical support in the mitigation and control of forest fires that hit the South American country.

In this regard, the Deputy Minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, reiterated that Venezuela is always ready to provide its support to the Peoples of the world.

“When a people need us, we immediately activate the devices we need to be able to send aid on time and save lives (...) We are bringing the message of solidarity from President Nicolás Maduro; the president's solidarity and on time,” he said.

The team is made up of more than 60 men, belonging to Inparks, Civil Protection and the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism; who carry more than 150 specialized devices and tools, “which are essential to combat the force of fire”.
