SNGR maintains observation posts for the flow of the Guaire River

Officials from the National Risk Management System (SNGR) maintain 30 observation and monitoring points on the Guaire River and the southern slope of the Waraira Repano National Park to generate early alerts for possible sudden increases in water tributaries.

This was reported by the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace on its Instagram account, where it also detailed that the members of the SNGR carry out permanent inspection of the 72 kilometers that make up these bodies of water.

“SNGR personnel carry out these preventive actions to avoid, mitigate and reduce possible damage and damage that may arise in the face of a possible overflow caused by hydrometeorological events or phenomena,” the said message highlights.
