Spanish football expresses support for Venezuela after being affected by earthquakes

Several Spanish football clubs expressed their support for Venezuela after the two earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 recorded on June 24.

Sports organizations released messages in which they regretted the losses and sent words of support to the affected families, according to information provided by Última Noticias.

Real Madrid was one of the first to speak out and expressed its solidarity with the Venezuelan population, pointing out that the country is going through a situation of mourning due to the impact of the earthquakes. The club reiterated its support through a statement released on its official channels.

FC Barcelona also expressed its support and sent a message to the Venezuelan people in which it accompanied the victims and those affected by the earthquake. The team underlined its willingness to accompany the country at this time.

Other clubs such as Real Sociedad, Valencia, Girona, Rayo Vallecano and Elche joined the show of support. Each institution regretted the damage caused and sent words of encouragement to Venezuelan families, on a day marked by the reaction of Spanish sports to the emergency.
