SPNS received insulins to provide care for Monagas patients

A total of 4,704 units of NPH insulin intended for the care of patients with metabolic diseases were received by the staff of the National Public Health System (SPNS) of Monagas state.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, the distribution of these units will be carried out through the Cardiovascular, Endocrine, Metabolic, Renal, Cancer and Anti-Tobacco Control (CAREMT) Health Program.

The drugs will be channeled directly to the various Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC), thus ensuring easier and closer access for patients in their own communities.
