Strategic Operational Commander reiterates the commitment of the FANB to the defense of the homeland

After the start of Operation Lightning of Catatumbo, members of the Bolivian National Armed Forces (FANB) remain deployed throughout the border region with Colombia.

The information was confirmed by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez, who, through his social networks, emphasized the commitment of his ranks to the Venezuelan homeland.

For his part, the head of state, on his Telegram channel, wrote: “Operation “Catatumbo Lightning” is under way, as part of the “Bolivarian Shield 2025” Exercise, deployed throughout the border region with our sister #Colombia for Peace and Security”.
