Surgical plan favors more than 530 Trujillanos

total of 534 patients with various pathologies were treated in the state of Trujillo through the National and Regional Surgical Plan, according
to information
published on the web portal of the newspaper Ultima Noticias.
According to the publication, the interventions addressed were of high, medium
and low complexity, in order to settle the surgical debt held by the state of Trujillo .
The regional
director of the hospital network and coordinator of the surgical plan,
Yonathan Alcalá, who explained that the cases treated were captured in the
specialties of gynecology, general surgery, pediatrics and urology.
“From
the Ministry of Popular Power for Health and the
Trujillana Health Foundation (FUNDASALUD). We continue to treat
patients who were waiting for low, medium and
high complexity elective surgeries. This national and regional surgical plan continues in the
entity,” he emphasized.
The centers added to the plan were the Rafael Rangel Hospital, in Boconó; María Aracelis Álvarez Hospital, in Betijoque (Rafael Rangel municipality); José Vasallo Cortez Hospital, in Sabana de Mendoza (Sucre); Doctor José Gregorio Hernández Hospital, in Trujillo (capital) and the Hospital Doctor Pedro Emilio Carrillo University, from the city of Valera.
