Cardenales de Lara remained undefeated after defeating Tigres de Aragua 5-4 at the José Pérez Colmenares stadium in Maracay, and remains firmly at the top of the Round Robin standings of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

For its part, Águilas del Zulia is second in the table, one game behind the leader, after dominating Bravos de Margarita 4-1, at the Nueva Esparta stadium.

The Insulars are in the third one and a half games behind the first. While Aragua is in fourth place after two games.

Meanwhile, Navegantes del Magallanes is still in the background after losing the first three games of the LVB P postseason.
