Trujillo will host the Second JGH Cycling Classic

More than 80 runners will travel through 10 municipalities in the entity

Starting this Friday, June 13, the second edition of the Doctor José Gregorio Hernández Cycling Classic will begin, which will be held until Sunday, June 15, with the participation of 16 national teams and one foreign team in three stages totaling 384.7 kilometers.

The information was provided by the president of the Organizing Committee, Jesús González, who stressed that the event is endorsed by the Venezuelan Cycling Federation and organized by a great team led by Governor Gerardo Márquez together with the Trujillana Cycling Association in order to bring emotions to their own and visitors.

The first stage will start from the Child Jesus Sanctuary of Doctor José Gregorio Hernández in the town of Isnotú, arriving at Plaza Bolívar de Betijoque in the Rafael Rangel municipality, covering 134.9 kilometers of route. He added that on the second day, cyclists will face the traditional circuit on Avenida Bolívar in the city of Valera, for a total of 117 kilometers, where speed and strategy will be key. The third stage will start from Emilio Olmos Park in the El Dividive parish of the Miranda municipality, arriving at Plaza José Gregorio Hernández de Isnotú, covering 132.8 kilometers and testing the endurance of cyclists on a tour through the municipalities of Rafael Rangel, Escuque, Valera, Pampán, Pampanito and San Rafael de Carvajal.
