Upata celebrated 263 years of its founding between history and culture

Plaza Bolívar in the Piar municipality brought together organized popular power, civil, military and police authorities in the celebration of the 263 years since the founding of Upata in the state of Bolívar.
With the customary floral offering and
cultural events, the activity took place between slogans and
awards to personalities who, in one way or another, consolidated development management in the town.
Governor Yulisbeth García, as an orderly
speaker, assured that from natural and
agro-productive benefits, Upata emerges as the spearhead of the entity's integral agrarian growth.
He also highlighted the
unwavering will of the people of Upata, who “have taken on
every challenge entrusted to overcome adversities in favor of consolidating every public service or care in the area of health or road transport
”.
With the award as Illustrious Daughter of Upata, Garcia expressed her gratitude. “How many emotions and how much honor my heart feels to be designated as an Illustrious Daughter of Upata, thank God, the people and the revolution for giving me so many opportunities,” she said.
