Venezuela and Cuba reaffirm cooperation and brotherhood agreements between the two nations

This Saturday, January 11, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, held a meeting with his counterpart from the Republic of Cuba, Ana María Mari Machado, in which they reaffirm the cooperation and brotherhood agreements between the two nations.
The meeting was held at the Federal Legislative Palace, where delegations evaluated the two decades of cooperation, brotherhood, fraternity, strategic alliances between both nations, and ratified cooperation for the future.
The links between the parliaments of both nations that make up the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) were also reviewed -
The visit of the Cuban authorities takes place in the context of the swearing in of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, before the AN, which reaffirms the historic friendship that Commanders Fidel Castro and Hugo Chávez began and which is reflected in the policies and cooperation agreements that promote both nations.
The board of directors of the AN was present at the meeting, as well as deputies from the Venezuelan parliament and the Cuban ambassador to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez Barrera.
