Venezuela and Egypt address issues of common interest

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, held a telephone meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, with whom he addressed issues of international and bilateral interest.

Through his Telegram channel, Gil noted that the topics discussed included “President Nicolás Maduro 's initiative of a Summit for Peace and against War, Egyptian proposals to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as the promotion of bilateral relations.”

For his part, the Egyptian Foreign Minister thanked the Venezuelan invitation to his country as guest of honor at the Venezuelan International Book Fair ( FILVEN).
