Venezuela and Türkiye deepen cultural cooperation

As part of the relationship of friendship and cultural and tourist cooperation, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture of Venezuela, Ernesto Villegas, held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, in order to continue the shared support between the two nations.
This meeting took place in the context of the inauguration ceremonies of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, for the constitutional period 2025-2031, where Ersoy represented President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as reported by Minister Villegas through his official account on the social network on Instagram.
On behalf of the Venezuelan delegation, the Minister of Tourism, Leticia Gómez, and Alex Saab, head of the National Industry and Production portfolio, also participated in the meeting. During the meeting, issues of common interest in the cultural and tourist fields were addressed, with the objective of strengthening ties between the two countries, as well as the importance of exchanging experiences and promoting initiatives that enrich Venezuelan and Turkish culture.
The meeting reaffirms the will of the national Government to establish strategic alliances that contribute to mutual growth at the multipolar level. The occasion marks a significant step towards strengthening relations between Venezuela and Türkiye, opening up new opportunities for collaboration in the cultural and tourism fields, Villegas said.
