Venezuela and Uruguay resume consular relations (+press release)

In an official statement, Venezuela announced the resumption of consular services with the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, the product of joint work between the two parties.

Below is the full text of the Communiqué:

The Foreign Ministries of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay inform public opinion that, as a result of joint work between the two parties, it has been decided to reactivate in the coming days the consular services of Uruguay in Caracas and of Venezuela in Montevideo, to serve the respective communities.
