The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Europe, Coromoto Godoy Calderón, handed over to the Chargé d'Affaires of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Robert Schuddeboom, a note protesting the interfering and illegal conduct of his diplomatic representation before the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in an arrogant and unfriendly attitude, by covering up the organization and direction of activities against the stability and peace of the country by Edmundo González Urrutia.

In a message posted on his Instagram account, Godoy noted that “the aggravating circumstance was maintained even when the said citizen was being sued in court, thus allowing him to evade his responsibilities before the Venezuelan justice system.”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp, confirmed through a letter that Edmundo González requested refuge in the Dutch diplomatic residence in Caracas the day after the Presidential Election of July 28, where he also indicated prior planning for his departure from Venezuela.
