Venezuela expresses its solidarity with India after a plane crash that left at least 200 fatalities

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil Pinto, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, expressed his condolences to the government and people of India after the “tragic plane crash that occurred on June 12”, which left at least 200 dead.
“The bonds of brotherhood between Venezuela and India call us to unite in mourning, to pray for those who left and to wish for the speedy recovery of the injured,” the holder of the diplomatic portfolio wrote through his Telegram channel.
According to information published in international media, an Air India aircraft with 242 people on board crashed shortly after taking off from the city of Ahmedabad, leaving at least 200 people dead.
