Venezuela wins four spots in Shotgun for Santo Domingo Central American and Caribbean Games

Venezuela was left with the four places it was looking for in the El Higüero Shooting Range in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for the 25th Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.

In the XXI Central American and Caribbean Shotgun Championship, Víctor Silva Datica and Víctor Silva Vega won places for men's skeet (skeet shooting); while, in the Olympic pit category, Leonel Martínez and Gabriele Evangelista did the same, according to Prensa Ministerio de Deporte.

The national delegation reached the 4 quotas that were set as its objective. Now it will be up to the Venezuelan Shooting Federation to define the names of the athletes who will attend the 25th Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.

The next Central American and Caribbean Games will take place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from July 24 to August 8, 2026.
