The Venezuelan taekwondo delegation closed its participation in the Luxembourg Taekwondo Open with 3 medals, 1 gold and 2 bronze.

The Venezuelan athlete Yohandri Granado won the gold medal in the -63 kg category. This time she beat the competitor from the Netherlands, Joep Van Limpt, in the final by a score of 2-0.

For their part, the Venezuelan athletes Virginia Dellan and Hillary Clemente also took the podium, achieving third place in the -49 and -67 kilograms, respectively.

Dellan beat Ireland's Byrne Ruby 2-1 in the quarterfinals, but lost 2-0 to France's Fofana Mah Teninba in the semifinal.

For her part, Hillary Clemente defeated Luxembourgish Isabelle Faber 2-0 in the quarterfinals, but in the next match she fell equally against Gala Mehnana Ines, to win the second bronze medal table in Venezuela, according to the Ministry of Sport press report.

With this international participation, Venezuelan taekwondo continues to gain experience and is preparing for the next edition of the Ayacucho-Lima 2025 Bolivarian Games in November.
