Venezuelan duo won gold in South American Beach Volleyball U-23 and will attend the 2025 Junior Games

The Venezuelan men's duo became the champions of the U-23 South American Beach Volleyball Tournament, which took place in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and thus entered their name in the 2025 Junior Pan American Games.
The volleyball players Juliangel Vargas and Esyenser Delgado won the gold medal undefeated, after beating the pairs of Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and in the grand final against representatives of Brazil.
Delgado described the experience as incredible, “it's a dream we had since childhood.” He also thanked the entire coaching staff and everyone who helped them to make this dream possible.”
“We came to Cochabamba with two objectives. The first was to qualify for the Junior Pan American Games and second to be on the podium, and what better way than to become champions,” he added, a press review by the Venezuelan Volleyball Federation.
For his part, Carlos Rivero, coach of the men's national team, assured that there is a lot of talent in Venezuela, we have approximately two months of preparation, concentrated. “After playing the professional beach league, we put them together, they are very talented boys, we've been working and one provides some element for us to continue adding,” he added.
