The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) confirms Venezuela's economic leadership in the region, projecting growth of 6.0% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 2025 and 3.2% in 2026.

The information was provided by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, through a publication on her account on the social network Telegram, in which she specified that “these figures express Venezuela's great national union for economic development and social happiness in respect of our sovereignty.”

“We are building a new sovereign economic model driven by President Nicolás Maduro, supported by 18 consecutive quarters of growth,” he emphasized.

Rodríguez stressed that despite the criminal blockade of North American imperialism, “we continue to move forward with firm steps, articulating the different levels of the economy and democratizing productive spaces. Venezuela will continue to win!”

In the message, the vice-president attached a link to the ECLAC press release on her website.
