Vice President Rodríguez meets with Secretary General of the African Organization of Petroleum Producers

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, met with the Secretary General of the African Organization of Petroleum Producers, to evaluate the strengthening of cooperation in the hydrocarbon sector

From her telegram channel, the senior official of the Venezuelan Government specified that “we held an important meeting with Omar Farouk Ibrahim, Secretary General of the African Organization of Petroleum Producers, in which we evaluated increasing the strengthening of our cooperation in areas related to technical training and the exchange of good practices in the hydrocarbon sector.”

He added that “Venezuela is honored to be an honorary member of this organization of African oil and gas producing countries.”

Venezuela and Africa share the horizon for a profitable destination of joint development and energy complementarity for the benefit of our peoples and economies, within the framework of a new multipolar world where the Global South claims its historic role!
